The ancient Romans called the lagoons separated from the open sea near Venice the septem maria or seven seas. Extend The Battery Life of Your Mobile Devices

Mobile technology has been very beneficial to us in the last few years. It has allowed as to be free of bulky devices and conveniently move around while maintaining productivity, entertainment and communicability. In spite of this convenience, we’re still at the mercy of batteries. Once they run out of power, it’s impossible to use these gadgets unless you have a battery charger or a spare battery with you.

Though high-capacity batteries like Li-on and Ni-MH are used by modern mobile devices, at some point, they still get drained. You must take some measures to extend the life of your batteries. Here are some tips:

Suicide

Around the world, around one million people commit suicide each year, including more than 6,000 in the UK and Ireland, of whom around 1,500 are women and 4,500 men.
Although the number of young men committing suicide has increased over the past couple of decades, suicides among women have fallen. The reason for this is currently not well understood.

It may be women are better at expressing and dealing with their distress. It may also be that current social, financial and economic issues have put more pressure on men. However, the fall has also been attributed to suicide prevention strategies, improved social conditions and changes that have affected the way people try to commit suicide, such as selling only limited amounts of over the counter medicines at a time (reducing the risk of impulsive overdose).

The Life Giver Zebrafish

                                                              Zebrafish

Fish are, without a doubt, some of the stranger creatures among us. They can glow. They can shock. They can change their gender. They can change color or mimic other species. Some fish can even climb trees. They are also extremely devoted parents.

Take the female octopus, for example. She will stay with her eggs for six weeks—up to 50,000 eggs, to be exact—and by the time they hatch, she is either dead for starvation or too weak to fight predators, so she ends up being killed anyway; all for the sake of bringing her children to life.

Dancing mania

swastikatree.jpg

Dancing mania is a social phenomenon that occurred primarily in mainland Europe between the 14th and 18th centuries.During an outbreak of dancing mania, groups of strange people, sometimes thousands at a time, would dance uncontrollably and bizarrely. Many strange incidents of dancing mania have been recorded.  During these events, men, women, and children dance through the streets of towns or cities, sometimes foaming at the mouth until they collapse and die from fatigue.  One of the first major outbreaks of the mania occurred in Aachen, Germany, on June 24, 1374.
During the event, the populace danced wildly through the streets, screaming of visions and hallucinations, and even continued to writhe and twist after they were too exhausted to stand.  The phenomenon is well-documented in contemporary writings.  During the initial outbreaks of the mania, religious ceremonies were often held in an attempt to exorcise the demons believed to be causing the dancing.  No real consensus exists as to what caused the
mania.  However, some cases, especially the one in Aachen, may have been caused by ergot poisoning, or ergotism, known in the Middle Ages as "St. Anthony's Fire.”
