Toads sense earthquake days in advance
Dogs, rodents, fish and snakes have been observed reacting to earthquakes, sometimes several days before they occur. Now we can add toads to the list of animals that can ‘predict’ seismic activity.
A British study on toads in Italy shows strong evidence that the amphibians can detect earthquakes days before they happen. According to a report from BBC News, toads that were being studied in L’Aquila, Italy last year produced no spawn during an earthquake period, which begins at the main shock and continues to the last aftershock.

Larry Walters or Lawn chair Larry was an American truck driver who took flight on July 2, 1982 in a homemade aircraft.Larry Walters always dreamed of being an aviation pilot, but was born with poor eyesight. From a young age, he planned on creating a flying machine using weather balloons. As a child, his plan was to attach a few helium-filled weather balloons to his lawn chair, cut the anchor, and then float above his backyard at a height of about 30 feet (9.1 m) for several hours.
He intended on bringing a pellet gun that he would use to burst balloons and gradually float to the ground. In 1982,Walters and his girlfriend, Carol Van Deusen, purchased 45 eight-foot weather balloons and obtained helium tanks.

Your Own Breath to Charge Your iPhone?
We’re all looking for ways to cut costs these days, and using less energy is a great technique. The AIRE Mask would help you cut down on electricity costs by using your own breath to charge your iPhone. The mask was designed by Joao Paulo Lammoglia as a totally serious concept that won a Red Dot design award in 2011. And besides making you look a little like The Shredder, it’s a pretty good idea.

Its Woman Day
The idea of an International Women's Day first arose at the turn of the century, which in the industrialised world was a period of expansion and turbulence, booming population growth and radical ideologies.
On 8 March 1857, women working in clothing and textile factories (called 'garment workers') in New York City, in the United States, staged a protest.
They were fighting against inhumane working conditions and low wages. The police attacked the protesters and dispersed them. Two years later, again in March, these women formed their first labour union to try and protect themselves and gain some basic rights in the workplace.

Kids and Exercise
When most adults think about exercise, they imagine working out in the gym on a treadmill or lifting weights.
But for kids, exercise means playing and being physically active. Kids exercise when they have gym class at school, soccer practice, or dance class. They're also exercising when they're at recess, riding bikes, or playing tag.
