“I apologise to all the Malaysian people. I wanted very much to win the first ever gold medal for my people,” he said.
Malaysian still happy with silver… and am sure the whole Malaysians are proud of him. He may not be the greatest, but he is only guy in Malaysia who has beaten all the greats. See how amazing it is… That one man can bring the whole nation together. Bravo Dato Lee Chong Wei!
Now the question is who will replace him as the next Malaysian world-class single player?
I bet there are not many player as potential as him and up to current no one yet fit enough to replace him.Did Malaysia run out of talent? I hope someone will be there to take the baton from him and took up the unfinished task from Lee Chong Wei and put Malaysia in helm.
We had witness a courageous Chong Wei in the recent Olympic match with China Lin Dan.I feel it doesn't matter if we lost but the spirit and oneness that bring all Malaysian wherever we are to stay united behind our hero Lee Chong Wei.
We hope for a better chance in 2016 Olympic with new talent and hero that will rock the Badminton world...would we?
