All of us have a preferred way to handle the steering wheel as we drive. But modern studies have determined that many of us are doing it all wrong.I use to have my own style too but this had change them all.Well as you know safety is the most important part and when you knew you are doing it wrong than its about time for changes.
American Automobile Association (AAA) recommends holding the steering wheel with both hands, at the 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock positions, as on the hands of a clock. This method provides: 180-degree steering input without removing your hands from the steering wheel. A high level of arm leverage and vehicle control. An awareness of where the wheels are pointing and how to straighten them. Quicker reaction times, making you better able to take evasive action.AAA "2 and 10 o'clock is not recommended because it can be dangerous in vehicles with smaller steering columns and equipped with air bags."
